Losing a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, sibling or even just a close friend is never easy but when your a child it is even harder cause some are to young to understand where that person has gone and why they will never be back. Then to be the child associated to a death with such a stigma as an overdose. That’s hard enough for anyone so we created a program for children under the age of 18 who have lost a parent, sibling, or primary caretaker to the opioid epidemic to try and make the greif a little easier and bring a little sunshine to their life. We provide each child a free memorial package, which includes a pillow made from the lost love one’s shirt or a stuffed animal, treats and cards throughout the year, and resource materials for the caregivers on grief and addiction. We raise money in order to make this a free service for the families. If you’d like to help, you can sponsor a child for $25 for the year.
Sponsor a Little Faces today for only $25 for the year and you will receive a sponsor package with a picture of your child, a bracelet and a thank you card from the Little Face once they have received their memorial package.
